About John Presley Photography
The wedding photography service that I offer is tailored to your requirements and unique to you. I take the traditional posed shots that form the back bone of your wedding album, and augment them with spontaneous shots taken throughout the day to give you a treasured record that captures the emotion of your wedding day.
Planning is essential to ensure that everything runs smoothly. In order to achieve this, I will discuss in detail with you beforehand which traditional shots you specifically want, for example the arrival of the Bride at the church, the different family and friend groups, and the cutting of the cake. We will then allocate ushers or others involved in the running of your wedding to help me organise everyone on the big day to ensure that I can work quickly and keep your day relaxing, flowing and fun. It is your wedding and it is important that it is as you want it.
At other times during the day, I will stand back and become almost invisible. This is when I employ my skills as a reportage photographer to capture all those special moments that you may miss, but that reflect the emotion of the day.
You can decide when you want me to start recording your day, whether it be at the Bride’s house in the morning, or at the ceremony. You also decide if you would like me to stay on beyond the cutting of the cake to record the first dance.
While you are on your honeymoon, I will spend several hours reviewing all the shots of the day, of which there will be hundreds. From these I select all the formal shots that will form the main structure of your album, and the best reportage photos that will provide a record of every moment as it happened.
I will present you with a large selection of colour and black and white photos of your wedding day, and you will choose your favourite images for your album. You will then have a treasured record of your wedding day to keep forever.
